So I arrived in Rio de Janeiro yesterday. So far I like this place. We took a huge plane from Paris to get here, it had two stories. It was the first time I had ever taken such a big plane. My monitor and light did not work so they gave me a gift certificate for 60 euro towards a flight. I will definitely be using that.

When we got to Rio, we needed to do a little shopping. During the conference I am attending in Salvador, we have to wear something white for a Gala we are attending. And since we have nothing white, we both had to find something while in Rio. Mission accomplished!

Then we walked around on the beach. It is quite beautiful here. There are hills surrounding us.

For dinner we went to a really good sea food restaurant. It was delicious.

Today we are going on an all day tour of Rio. This includes the large Christ and Sugar Loaf. I am pretty excited about it. Then tomorrow I am going scuba diving! I hope to have wonderful pics.
